What is Reiki
Reiki is a safe and gentle holistic therapy that is done by placing the hands in a series of positions over or slightly above the animals body. From these positions positive energy flows into the body through the hands of the practitioner. Reiki assists the natural healing process by activating the relaxation response and helping the body to balance itself from a very deep level.Reiki sessions are a safe, gentle approach to support the health and well-being of animals. As in humans, animals behavioral problems and the majority of illnesses are often linked to stress and emotions.
Our domestic pets often ‘vacuum up’ many of the denser energies in our households that are frequently associated with negative emotions such as anger, fear and depression. Reiki is deeply relaxing for animals and promotes a sense of well-being and calmness. Reiki builds trust between animal and human, reduces stress and anxiety, and supports animals through injuries, illnesses, trauma, or abuse.

"According to the American Institute of Stress (AIS), stress is America’s # 1 Health Problem. There are numerous emotional and physical disorders that have been linked to stress including depression, anxiety, heart attacks, stroke, hypertension, immune system disturbances, as well as autoimmune diseases, like rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. In addition, stress can have direct effects on the skin, the gastrointestinal system and can contribute to insomnia. In fact, it’s hard to think of any disease in which stress cannot play an aggravating role or any part of the body that is not affected."

These chemicals cause heart rate and respiration to speed up, and suppress the immune system. Stress also clamps down on the reproductive system, reducing libido and reproductive hormones, which ultimately increases the risk for cardiovascular disease. All these all-too-human effects have also been measured in animals." 2.https://www.livescience.com As with Humans Animals suffer the same effects of stress. Fortunately they reap the same benefits that humans do from Massage & Reiki. |

Reiki has become a fast growing alternative therapy. Even the medical community is increasingly providing Reiki together with traditional treatments to promote faster healing. Continual stress hinders the body's natural ability to repair itself and Reiki has been found to reduce stress and fatigue by relaxing the body and mind. Reiki can help unblock the body's energetic pathways and support your animals natural healing process.
